I want to share some photo's to show you how beautiful it was.
Ofcourse the journey started with my flight and a beautiful view of the sky! The clouds looked so soft and inviting....I wanted to take a nap on them :)

I was in Asia during the celebration of Buddha's birthday. There was a lantern parade. The lanterns are made of paper.

In the weeks leading to Buddha's birthday, people hang lanterns in temples and on the streets. The hanging lanterns are symbolic for offerings of light, wisdom and compassion in a world too often filled with darkness and suffering. And how beautiful this gesture is and looks!

Amazing, the contrast between an old temple and modern buildings next to each other.
Ofcourse I had to post some photo's of the beautiful nature.
And last but not least: ofcourse I ate some (maybe more then some.... ;)) very yummy food!
As you can see, it was truly amazing!
