It is almost a month ago that I posted on my blog! I can't believe it! I'm a bit ashamed.......but you know how it goes: time flies when you are having fun! ;)

But I did some crocheting lately and made a new blanket. I don't know why but it has something Arabic about it....at least I think it has ;). Anyway, I'm very happy with the result!

I also made a custom made order. These are moose head trophies but ofcourse the animal-friendly (and child-friendly) ones ;)

Amazing Asia!

It's two weeks ago that I returned from my vacation. I went to Asia for six weeks and I really had a great time!

I want to share some photo's to show you how beautiful it was.

Ofcourse the journey started with my flight and a beautiful view of the sky! The clouds looked so soft and inviting....I wanted to take a nap on them :)

I was in Asia during the celebration of Buddha's birthday. There was a lantern parade. The lanterns are made of paper.

In the weeks leading to Buddha's birthday, people hang lanterns in temples and on the streets. The hanging lanterns are symbolic for offerings of light, wisdom and compassion in a world too often filled with darkness and suffering. And how beautiful this gesture is and looks!

Amazing, the contrast between an old temple and modern buildings next to each other.

Not everyone’s cup of tea

So many people, so many different tastes and preferences. Yesterday I posted a custom made order of 4 pillows. I really like these pillows but I also like my Rainbow blanket and both are so different. What do you like? What are your favorite colours?

I love bright colours and it is a joy for me to use as many different colours I can find and squeeze them in one project, but I also like to use just a few modest colours. So after a few colourful blankets, I choose just three colours for my next project. I hope to post pictures of the new project soon!
