WIP or NIP?

This week I made a very bold decision......to finish all my WIP's! For people who don't know what a WIP is: it means Work In Progress.

 Normally you start a project and finish it. So how does a project ends somewhere in a dark corner of a closet and becomes a NIP (Not In Progress)?

Something happens what causes you to stop with your project: you get an order (yahoo!!), you run out of yarn (oh nooooo!!), you have problems understanding a pattern and get stuck (?????) or you have finished all the crochet work and but gets demotivated because you really, really, yes really, dislike sewing all the parts together or sewing all the loose ends in (aaaaargh!!).

So you put your WIP aside for a while and starts with other things.....
And your WIP becomes from a NIP to a WNBF (Will Never Be Finished) and finally a DIATB (Dumped In A Trash Bin).

But this week I decided to break this circle of growing pile of NIP's in the closet and finish them all! I hope to show you some almost WNBF's and DIATB's very soon.

Blogging is hard work.....

Oh noooo

Oh dear.....I saw it's almost 4 months (!!) ago I posted for the last time on my Blog.

What kept me busy all those months? Uhm....well, I made a lot of new products which I can't post here or on my Facebook page because unfortunately there isn't enough sunlight to make good photos. So maybe I get lucky and there will be enough light and otherwise I have to wait untill summer 2015! :)

An other reason why it took so long before I had finally enough courage to write a post is: blogging is hard work!! Oh yes....it is!

I see so many great Blogs! Full of photos of beautiful nature.....and many pictures about cozy cups of hot steaming tea or coffee and last but not least: great delicious looking plates of food!! I don't have photos like that. I'm afraid I'm not a great photocrapher or cook.....and I'm to greedy. When I see delicious food, I dive in and start eating without even thinking of making a photo....until it's to late and the onc-so-delicious-looking plate of food looks like a car crash. And an other missed opportunity to make a nice photo for my Blog ;)

Because English is not my native language, it always takes so much time to write a post. It takes a lot of time and effort and who is going to read this?

Oops...

It is almost a month ago that I posted on my blog! I can't believe it! I'm a bit ashamed.......but you know how it goes: time flies when you are having fun! ;)

But I did some crocheting lately and made a new blanket. I don't know why but it has something Arabic about it....at least I think it has ;). Anyway, I'm very happy with the result!

I also made a custom made order. These are moose head trophies but ofcourse the animal-friendly (and child-friendly) ones ;)

I will miss my mooses when they leave for their final destination! I hope they will make their new owners  very happy :)
